Harvest First harvest in mid February in Hawkes Bay.  Similar or slightly after Summerblush. Size Medium-large, 65-70mm Flesh Yellow, clingstone Flavour Classic, sweet flavour with melting texture. Moderate to high acid.

August Fire is a highly coloured sport mutation of August Red. It is a productive, classic, yellow flesh nectarine that ripens at a similar time to Summerblush. August Fire's fruit appearance and flavour is considered superior to other selections available at this time of the year.
